Coaching and Pastoral Counseling

Life is amazing…and then it’s awful. And then it’s amazing again…and in between the amazing and the awful it’s ordinary and mundane and routine. That’s just living. And it’s breathtakingly beautiful.” Adapted from L.R. Knost

Sometimes we all need a little help. We want to be there with you as you walk through the ordinary, amazing, awful, and routine life that is uniquely yours!

As a Leadership Coach Kim focuses on how to live through transitions.  She will walk with you and help build strategic ways to address the obstacles that come in getting from here to there.  As the leader of an organization, knowing that you must live through change and transitions is obvious. Kim’s specialty is navigating through the transition – how do you transition?  What are strategic ways to recognize urgency, communicate a positive message, focus on new values and behaviors, and negotiate with those who don’t want to go?

Group Coaching is another way in which Kim can serve leaders by offering content rich group experiences that allow teaching and interaction with other people who are in a similar place as leaders.  Everyone learns from the content and from the conversation, then takes away specific individual action steps until the next meeting.  Stay tuned in for upcoming Group Coaching opportunities.

As a Pastoral Counselor Gary focuses primarily on those who struggle with stress, anxiety, burnout, grief and loss. I also offer couples therapy. I work to create space for people to learn to accept what is out of their personal control and make a renewed commitment to value-guided actions that will enrich their lives. Gary is working toward licensure in the state of North Carolina and is under supervision as a pastoral counselor.
